Thanks to the Rods&Cones remote assistance services, Dr. Lennard Gilissen (MDL) from the Catharina Hospital was able to broadcast the placing of a special coil probe (PEC) in the large intestine of a patient with severe chronic constipation.

At the other end of the session, a group of doctors from the Amsterdam UMC watched the operation and learned the techniques of this surgery from the specialized doctor.
