Rods&Cones Open Kit
Ideal for open surgery and non-invasive procedures – see what the surgeon sees, remotely
Our Open Kit gives healthcare professionals remote access to and from the OR. Whether you’re working remotely in the field, or in the OR, our Open Kit gives you the opportunity to dial in an expert using cutting-edge, user-friendly technology.
Provide the remote expert a surgeon’s perspective of the procedure, plus an additional still or moving feed, from x-rays to ultrasound visuals. The remote expert screen can hold up to 6 different feeds. The Open Kit is best suited to open surgery, as well as for education and training for open surgery procedures.
What’s included in the Open Kit?
Our signature smart glasses give remote experts the same view as the surgeon.
Connect a second video feed to your remote experts’ OR broadcast: including x-rays, heart rate, ultrasound, and more.
A webcam device enabling a 360-degree view of the OR.
A convenient carry case that charges your Rods&Cones devices and keeps them safe as well.

“It’s a safe and effective tool to teach and guide during a case via the (smart) glasses by showing the important steps using voice, words, pictures, or by pointing on the screen. I used the technology remotely from my office. It enables off-site teaching and gives the feeling of being in the room with the surgeon.”

“With (Rods&Cones), you have the possibility to record surgery, and stream it, if needed. It’s a powerful tool for education.”
